Workout – 3.2 mile run (30 min)
The past two days I didn’t get out in the morning for a run or a walk with my little man – LAZY. Usually I run every other day, and on the other days I go for a long walk or hike with him. Since the last two days I didn’t do anything in the morning…I found out that I’m not the only one who gets super cranky when exercise is passed over.
My little man has been a G.R.U.M.P. these past couple days. He has been whiney, takes terrible naps (comparatively) and is just plain no fun to be around. I think that is exactly what my man could say about me (aside from the naps) when I don’t exercise for a couple days.
So, when/if you have little ones running around the house, and you find them to be SUPER IRRITATING…get some exercise in them (and you). It seriously does wonders!!! He is so much happier today since I went for a run with him.
On a different note…I got a call yesterday from the High School Athletic Department. As it turns out, THEY LIKED ME & offered me a job! WAHOO!!!!! Thanks for all your ‘good luck’ wishes…they worked!
I’ll be coaching 7th grade volleyball, starting Monday. We have a coaches meeting tomorrow, so I will find out more, but as of right now – I’m stoked! Now I need to make a list of babysitters!!! Any volunteers?!!
